AJ Angello, CSCS
Owner / Head Strength Coach
Ever since I can remember, I dreamed of opening my own gym. I am extremely passionate about fitness and sports performance, and nothing in this world makes me happier than seeing people achieve their goals and live healthy lifestyles.
I recently graduated from Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science Degree and a minor in Business Administration. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I have been a personal trainer for almost five years, and I completed a Sports Performance Internship at Yale University in the summer of 2020.
I graduated from Delmar High School in 2019, where I played baseball and football. I had the privilege of being a captain of the 2017 DIAA D2 Football State Champions. Now I compete in powerlifting as a member of the United States Powerlifting Association. On the rare occasion I'm not in the gym coaching or working out, I love to spend time with friends and family. I like to fish, golf, and do anything outdoors!

Sports have always been a significant part of my life. Since pre-K, I have been involved in a variety of sports and continued to do so until my sophomore year of high school. I was always the skinnier kid on the field and never paid much attention to the gym. It wasn't until my freshman year that I realized and appreciated the importance of the gym for sports performance and overall health.
During my sophomore football season, I tore my shoulder from a big hit, and I received devastating news that I would no longer be able to play contact sports. The thought that scared me the most was the possibility of not being able to train in the gym. However, during my annual check-up after surgery, the doctor informed me of the miraculous healing of my shoulder. In that moment, I learned that the gym serves a purpose beyond aesthetic appearance. It is a tool for building physical ability and mental strength as well.
Currently, I am attending Salisbury University, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Additionally, I am a certified NASM Personal Trainer. Apart from training, I enjoy being active by climbing 14,000 ft. mountains in Colorado with my family, spending time with friends, and exploring new activities!

Operations Manager / Coach
Throughout my life, I have maintained an active lifestyle. However, it wasn't until later on that I truly grasped the profound benefits of strength training, both physically and mentally. Armed with this newfound knowledge, I am driven to assist others in achieving their goals with a sense of happiness and holistic well-being.
During my high school years at Wicomico High School, I actively participated in lacrosse and cross country, dedicating myself to these sports for all four years. Upon completing my education, I embarked on a part-time position at a fitness facility. Over time, my commitment and expertise propelled me to the role of manager and eventually personal trainer. Throughout the span of six years, I fostered a genuine passion for cultivating healthier lifestyles not only for myself but also for those I had the privilege to guide.
The gym has become a second home to me, a place where I feel most comfortable and energized. However, when I'm not there, I find enjoyment with my friends, family, and my beloved pets—my dogs—who bring joy and warmth to my life.

I attended Mardela Middle and High School where I played baseball, basketball, and soccer. I studied Exercise Science at Salisbury University for 3 years before transferring to to the University of the Cumberlands where I study coaching.
I want to be able to have a positive impact on every person I interact with and help individuals get to the place they want to go. Growing up, I worked with a personal trainer every winter to prepare for baseball season. I have always been fascinated with exercise and why we train the way we do.
In my free time, I coach baseball for the East Coast Titans. I do instruction for them in the fall and winter and coach their 14U team in the spring and summer. Other than that, I spend most of my free time watching sports and expanding my knowledge.
